Date Conflict with CAT on 30th and 31st January 2010
We wish to inform NMAT-2010 test takers that the CAT Retest, announced by IIMs on 2nd January 2010, will take place on 30th and 31st January 2010. These dates clash with the NMAT test window starting from 30th January till 8th February 2010.
It will be appreciated that the NMAT-2010 test dates were announced in October 2009 and the IIMs should have taken these dates into consideration before deciding the CAT Retest dates. NMIMS and Pearson VUE have written to the IIMs to reconsider and reschedule the CAT Retest dates to avoid this conflict so that test takers who are registered for both tests are not inconvenienced.
Should the IIMs choose not to provide alternative dates to avoid the conflict with NMAT-2010, and you are caught within this conflict, you may want to take advantage of the NMAT-2010 Rescheduling window which begins from 11th January and continues through 17th January 2010. As the number of affected test takers is not known, we are unable to assess if all can be accommodated through the NMAT reschedule process. We will however be watching this closely and will do our best to accommodate as many aspirants as possible.
If you wish to take advantage of the potential opportunity to reschedule, please click here to go to the Rescheduling link on this website at.
